Opah caught off Depoe Bay!

    Jamie from my team just put an opah in the boat off Depoe bay. They also had a marlin in the spread. Opah looks to be about 60 to eighty pounds! Just put it in the boat about 30 minutes ago.

    It's been since I was a kid and I'm 52 have I seen anything like this! Remember catching bft on the other side of breakwater in mission bay like 1976

    Last time i remember it being like this with fish so far north was the 82-83 El nino,Albies might get pushed out by warm water and you guys get some bluefin and yellowfin!

    Not the first opah in Oregon nor the biggest and the 20 was for the good of the event. Just like our warriors smiles and 46 fish donated you should try it some time!

    But on a side note congrats to him on the trophy they are rare up here!

    I could be wrong then maybe it is the biggest. How big was teitons? Hope it's a certified scale. Congrats to him captain and crew!
