Fished out of mission Bay today. Bait was horrible, almost all it rolled pretty quick. I motored out to the 9 and 15 miles of PL I found 2 tern birds dipping. I turned off the motor and started the chunk. Instant we had tuna swimming off the transom. Stuffed the killbag , and released twice as many in a two hour session. All fish were caught on chunk bait. Don't over run the fish, they are close. Also got a nice dorado on a fly lined sardine. While we pulled in the hen, the biggest local Dorado I have ever seen swam circles around the boat but would not play. I think a lot of guys knocked the crap out of tye tuna today. Fishing is excellent. Same day report! Good luck on the water.

Sweet. I'd buy a scoop just to chunk them based on the last week's action. I caught them all on chunks Sunday.

This site should offer a Bloodiest Deck of the Year award. You would be the hands down winner! Nice job

    Nice score!

Hey Paul, how was the weather/wind today? Shooting out tomorrow with my two girls, but my oldest is very touchy on the weather, so if it's not very mellow my day will probably be cut way short.

Was there much Lump on the water?

Hey Mike hope you get this before you head out. Weather was excellent. Very little wind and really no lump at all. West swell insignificant and the south swell was spread out pretty good about 2-3 feet. Fish are close so if it's like yesterday you guys will have a blast.
