Fishing remains very good down here at hurricane bank. We’re starting to see the bigger fish and lots of wahoo. Weather is perfect and everyone is enjoying the trip.

It's not mainly for the fish. It'd for the Adventure, Good food, Good Friends and If you catch a few it's a bonus. I don't think more than 10% of the passengers are fishing to fill the freezer or to get a decent YFT. It's a Vacation.

My dream has been to go on a 16 day trip. Our house goes on the market soon, and when it sells I'll be booking one of the same 16 day trips that Soda is going on. You only live once.

everyone (even non fisherman) should do a long range 16 day once in their life (if they have the funds). its an experience of a lifetime. boat gear is great----dont need to prep anything.

Well last time I posted fishing was great. Well it went to great to epic. Today and tomorrow then we head home. Fish holds are almost full.
Incredible fishing still remains here in the lower zone. Hurricane bank is on fire. Time for a shower and a hot meal. Stay tuned. 1 more day here then our 4 day journey back to San Diego.
Ya starlink is just like being at home. Excel and the rooster also have it. The intrepid has it but won’t let the customers use it for some dumb ass reason. It has No problem handling all the crew and all the customers. So intrepid fans starlink is only for the crew. That will change I bet

American Angler has it too. Talked to Lori last week. Actually, I think all of the LR boats have it. It's a no brainer! Glad you're having a great trip Soda! Looks like you might have a little swell coming home, but you're on the right boat for that. Thanks for the reports!

Man our we having fun. The excel arrived this morning and went to work on the tuna and wahoo right away. Big X getting their jigs bit and their fly line sardines bit very fast also. It’s an end to a fantastic trip. Maybe not a lot of big cows but almost everyone caught some quality fish around the 140-179 mark. The chef made an incredible spread today that everyone enjoyed. Fishing today was once again a big day with right around 60 fish and many wahoo. I will post how the ride is uphill towards San Diego on our 4 day ride. Plenty of movies and much needed rest.
Nothing over 200 because they kill them when they are small. Take everyone to the ridge and slaughter the peanuts and then wonder why there isn’t any big ones anymore
