Sitting in front of the computer eating bugs . Made 3 solo trips in November got a limit each time .From checking gear to having all back on deck was less than an hour fishing 20' of water . When stock starts getting low I'll go out again just tough to get motivated to go play in the cold when you can pull them out of your freezer .guess who took bugs home while you were sitting at the Computer ? Perhaps another reading of the Lobster regulations is due my friend it's 7 in possesion at any time not daily. I crack up everytime these guys talk about how they go to Catalina with a 3 Day permit and bring back 21 bugs each; that will be a hard lesson to learn if they get checked on the way home. I know its a stretch of them coming to your house but you're already posted your picture for them to recognize.

I know the regs I can have 7 and I can gift my wife 7 . Iv'e got twelve in my freezer .Just another reason I'm not out there in the cold trying to catch more . Not that I get multi day permits but those that do are allowed their 21 in possession . Maybe time for you to buff up on the regs .

Speaking of the Law...Captains word is Law!
I too hooped Thursday night.I invited 2 carpenter friends one I had with me on a trip earlier this season who knew the deck drill and how to bait up and rig the floats and drop hoops correctly and on command,The other just a cool stoner goofball who wanted to go and offered good beer and tacos.
We had a great trip the last time out with 8 keepers and one bug so big crusty and huge we released her. I am always trying to up my game and go next level, Like fishing on a work night.I'm a carpenter and I start work at 5 am so I can't be out all night.I told my "crew" to be at Davies at XXXX time and the were almost 2 hrs late...
Although I am a boat owner I don't get to fish as often as I want.The trips I try to make are planned and timed for a reason.For you guys that don't own boats here's the thing, when you go home we still have to put the boat away and all kinds of stuff that won't wait till tomorrow. blah blah blah.....
Be there on time.

No hi Jack thanks for posting you make a great point nothing pisses me off more, after my original post the other night I was planning on going the next night and left all my bait in the cages on the back of the boat to ferment but life got in the way so I got down there today to some really stank bait already loaded in my cages, The wife has her own things going on so I’m Out here now solo Watching Supercross and soaking some nasty ass bait, first set four Shorty’z
