All good, nuthin' "ruined", roomin' across the street, only difference is no Russian hookers in a cardboard room, AH ahahah. Just another story, survived the plague, anchovies, new guy boarding numbers, chain locker room in the forepeak, all the rites of passage. Looking foreword to seeing you all again.

Pumped. First trip out after boat upgrades and maintenance. Have a great trip all. Yeeeehaaaw. Hardcore bad ass crew that are also gentle giants who are very very patient. Including customer service oriented, working in a blood bath. Rare breed. Some all tatted up and approachable

“Sorry for the delay! We were held up four weeks due to the shipping delays in the Port of LA waiting for our brand new props. We're back at the Landing after six weeks in the yard and are hard at work getting the boat ready for our upcoming season.

Aside from our new props and internal work at the yard, we've upgraded our fresh water system, over hauled items in the wheelhouse, new pumps and gauges and this year aside from the normal deck paint, we're painting the house and brow on the second level.

Come 4/21 she'll be clean and ready to go for our first trip of the season on the Okuma Reels 16-day.“

“Did our final ABS and U.S. Coast Guard Inspection today and we are happy to say that the Excel passed with no issues. We are good to go for another year. The crew did an amazing job with their safety drills and the boat ran great for the sea trial. We couldn't be happier. The boat leaves on Wednesday for our first trip of the season the Okuma Reels 16 day. The crew is hard at work scubbing her up and making her shiny. We'll see you at the rail......."

About the hotels around the landings. For shits and giggles, Humphreys Half Moon Inn on Shelter Island (5 min walk to the landings, It's just around the corner on Shelter Island Drive) The rooms cost about the same (a garden view rooms) as the Ramada Inn or Vagabond and the rooms are a lot nicer and bigger and it's a small resort that looks like your in Hawaii once inside the property. They have a gorgeous pool ,Jacuzzi and the tropical foliage all around the the property. They also have a pool bar and lots of eye candy when your sitting around the pool/bar before your trip. The hotel is even a great option if you want your wife, family, significant other, etc, to go a day or two before your trip or a day before your trip gets in and make a nice little vacation out of it, Instead of staying in some dive hotel that's over priced. Take a look at the hotel and pictures and the amenities, You'll be surprised at the cost of staying their and a little paradise just around the corner. ;) P.S they also have a great restaurant, bar and room service.
Staying at Humphere’s or the Best Western nearby also means you can cruise the Shelter,a island pier if you get bored. Sometimes they catch mackerel most often... but still a good way to kill some time. JMO

I just got back from a trip out of fisherman’s. Went down to the landing the day before trip and booked the Ramada. Price was 102$ish, split between 4 of us, well worth it. Beats having to get up at 2 am to drive down and be there by 4:30
4 people in one or two beds?:gay:, Just Kidding.

Same as the Indy April trip. We usually load up and stay on the boat night before. It’s Covid. We had to have Covid test or show we got the two shots to board. Wasn’t too bad. But I do miss the boarding the day before.
