Call and schedule a lunch and tour instead.

OK for what? A 70' sport boat or a 20' CC?

Wind and swell, I wouldn't want to go. Even on a big sport going to be knocking around and not fun to fish, but I'm getting to be a softie.

Aren't you the gentleman that just bagged a #40+ Butt?

I go out on a high note, take up a different hobby.

Crap. I'm scheduled to go on the Eldorado on Friday. It doesnt look good. They will likely go to SCI instead. That's what happened on my December trip.

I think I mentioned things might get a little nautical on your other post barf On the bright side Anacapa doesn't look to bad or the east end Of Cruz .But that's all subject to change .The weather at the channel islands can get real very quickly.

Take 4X the dosage and you’ll be alright. Just a little sleepy but prolly won’t be sick. And if you do get sick, go to the bunk and you’ll sac out like a baby.
Good luck bro! Post a report too

More worried about the wind than the swell. Last time I was out there on a party boat, it was forecast to be 8 feet at 15 seconds, but light wind, so not that bad. Mountains of water rolling at you, but it was doable. Couple that with heavy wind, though, and it could get bad. Be careful.

    hi guys,

back from a fruitful trip, the waves weren't as bad and the captain used the Island to protect us from the wind. Fished Santa Rosa and everyone from the group got limits of Whitefish and Rockfishes. 7 Sheepheads, saw some 10+ # Sheepheads pulled up but not mine. 1 Lingcod, their population really is gone.
All in all, glad to take the chance and get out there to fish!
