Hey everyone, here is our newest Steady Drift video. These past two months have been really fun offshore. We heard some rumors that there were Bluefin close to home so we decided to give it a shot. We fought this Bluefin for about three hours and we were 10 miles off the beach of Malibu. We were stoked to get our first local Bluefin tuna, and on the way home, we got worked as the weather began to shift. We also had a few other trips where we headed out of Dana Point and found some more Bluefin, Yellowtail tail, and Dorado on the Paddys. Check out our video and let us know what you guys think. Thanks for all of the support, we just hit 1k subscribers.

Very nice video etc, But this forum is for fish REPORTS and not a platform to promote your YouTube channel. you can do the minimum by providing some info like water temp, line used etc.
BTW what is the BF weight ?

We got it on a 90J with the new Tady 4/0 surface iron on 40lb line. Were guessing the fish was about 80-90lbs. We didn't have a scale.

In the video , the guy on the rod is just holding the fish. Lift and reel. Its really not that hard , short pump and reel . Standing there holding the rod while the fish circles is not going to do much as you found out. Ever wonder how the captain or a deckhand comes in after that long of a fight and lands the fish in minutes, because he turns the handle.

Cant turn the handle when the fish is running. I appreciate your concern though, try fighting a fish on a jig stick and let me know how your arm feels.

So you were the guy holding the rod , or giving him the water? Go check your followers numbers or whatever the fuck you do. If you post some silly shit like that you better be ready to take a few off the chin or maybe just take it as advice like it was meant to be.
