Fished with shitbird and "fish is a fish" yesterday on my rig looking for anything that would bite.We started the morning looking for paddys outside near the 267 and hopefully fish that would bite. Absolutely a bitchen ride out with little swell an no wind:High_Five .Found lots of kelps holding lots of bait and several that had dorado on them that wouldn't go:nopity: Water was nice blue and right at 69 or so in the area.Same story as everyone else.Trolled with the porpoise with some really nice marks under them for nada .....they wouldnt go.Tried it all.
Decided to save the day inside with some drifts at my favorite spots for a legal flat one for myself and a few cold ones with the boys.Called it a day around 3:45 or so for some cocktails and boat cleaning
The fish are there.... soon ...very soon

    Hi Scarleg,

Nice fishy. As you say .... 'they're out there' .... just too much sign here and there to not be !! Here's getting on them early to you !!

Only thing I'm worried about is the moo-moos getting a whiff and running out there like 3 years ago and abandoning MY fishing for the Bass here in near-shore waters. Dorado and Yellowtail on a moo-moo with 65 anglers riiiiiiiiggggghhhhhttt !!

    Thanks for the heads-up !!

    Hi fish is a fish,

Hey .... that's not spam. That's a warning !! Don't use Eric as ... when the bite is on .... he will be on the hot bite 20 miles from shore when you're waiting for that window replacement to be done !!! JK :)

I do not think he will tell you. :food-smiley-014: Well anyway, thank you for a great time looking at the fish. We got to see a big pod dolphin was cool. Dusten and I got to touch some of them. It was so bitchen, better then Sea World. Then we got to see a bunch of whales. It was cool. The fishing was slow outside for us. But fishing in side was good. We caught a lot of shovelnose sharks , smoothhound sharks, sandbass, and the first drop for Eric, a 30" halibut. That saved the day:beerbang: I can't waight for next time. We wish you your part of the circle Da Goose. Can't waight to see you out in the Provider slaming the halibut.

Subway sandwiches Karl... my bow rail is off the boat at the moment for repairs ,so no BBQue this time out. The mount is for the rail and not the rod holder style.I am gonna buy that kind though so we don't have to run to the bow for the Barbie

    Hi Eric and Thanks!
Just thought I would ask. I have noticed some "secrecy" up here and in Baja when it comes to some of the fishing spots.
