Launched out of Oceanside harbor early Saturday morning. Wind was offshore out of the north east.

Worked the pipeline. Drifted for a bit with the wind and current pushing us out. Bounced on both side of the rocks then circled back and anchored at about 70' of water. Bottom fish we're really hungry for squid. About 10' from the bottom tons of little bites, fish were sucking the bait off the hook. Tried a few different presentations to figure out what would bring them up.

Traveled south to Ponto, easy motoring as wind was calm.
Fished the artificial reef for a bit, same technique from the pipe was working here. Got a few more fish. Then the wind started picking up on shore.

Headed back north. A little slower as there was some minor chop. Ran into a good pod of Dolphins and watched them for a bit. Noticed a party boat at the end of the pipeline but just passed by without dropping a line.

Alll in all a good day on the water. My buddy decided to take home a trigger fish and calico. I threw everything back with the highlight being a good size sand bass.

That's a Piranha on steroids! Cool creature!

You would think they'd be abundant with the armor and all.
