Excuse the noob question, I've just never been on either boat and it'll only be my second 1.5 day trip. Anyone have recommendations on which boat to go on? Want to do a 1.5 day trip on the 10th of July and many are sold out locally (22nd street, dana Point...) There's also a price difference which i find strange (40$ difference)

The OO is the right choice.
Although Capt.Rick can be alittle moody sometimes.

Both the Legend and the Old Glory should be great, I like the OG but purely by personal preference. Both are great boats.

@Neill hernandez just got off the OO this morning. Ran way out of overnight range on a 1.5 day. The fish right now up top don’t really want to bite due to a tonnage of bait all the yellows and bluefin right now are coming from a area wayyyyyyyyyy down the line.

as far as the Ocean Odyssey it is the only boat I ride when I go south.

Old glory one of the most underrated operations out there - think they get unfairly lumped in at times with other turn and burn touristy etc overnight operations even though for 2-3+ seasons straight they’ve been putting out a primo operation.
