Some Parker thief stole the hatch cover that sits on the swim step between my motor and transom.

Luckily i was only taking the boat out to nachos and fish for macs with the kids.... if i was heading offshore, it would have ruined the day.

The boat is drydocked at Sunset Marina. I'm assuming the thief is also a parker owner and took my hatch to replace his lost hatch cover.... But still not cool.

I left my boat there for 4 or 5 months when I was having work done at my house. Lost a few things too. So annoying. Hope the mac fishing at the barge with the kids went well. Great idea, never even thought of that!

This is disturbing....I keep mine there as well. Never had a problem yet. They are supposed to have cameras out there. Might want to check with Nancy in the office to see if you can get a clue to track down the scum bag....

Yah. It’s not an expensive item but would have been a buzz kill if I was planning to go offshore.

My kids are 2.5 and 3.5 so it’s easy action. Bring a can of cat food pate and the macs stick to you all day.

Yesterday when I got to my boat in Dana Point there were foot prints leading to the cabin door.

Haven't had a problem in dry storage there (knock on wood). Usually, they do a good job with the gates. I did see it open a few weeks ago (looked like the reader was broken), but nothing recently.

Ordered the part through armstrong who makes the parker bracket. Good guys there....

    $35+ shipping.

In case anyone ever needs to replace that part.

A couple of years ago, there were 3 Parkers there; now, I count 11.....At least, your boat was still there. Two yo-yos stole a Parker down south and got caught trying to launch it by the Queen Mary in Long Beach....

I'm not going to use a bait rig with my kids, but I'm thinking about all my easy options for less tangles and more fun. Maybe like a freshwater jig? What did you use?
