Went out last night with my dad. We decided to take it easy and stay on the coast this weekend and check out some of the local squid beds in hopes of a coastal tanker. Didn't get a tanker like I have seen lately but still a legal Seabass none the less. Still eats the same. We fished in about 80ft of water and made about 6 scoops of squish before my light fully illuminated. It was a one and done type of crowd. Wish it was always that easy. With all the squid we had we were chumming fools and still have some left over for fresh frozen next time. Anyways it was nice to spend a little father and son time with the old man and to me that is what it's all about. Good luck out there and slay! :hali_olutta:

P.S. Go ahead and make fun of my little legal Seabass

I shoot that size with no regrets if my freezer is empty, taste great and actually may be more sustainable.
