Sorry, but I wondered if anyone can tell me the best way to send a letter to Mexico from the States. I need it to get there and get there in a reasonable amount of time. It has some documents in it and I need to send it tomorrow early. Thanks in advance...

Sometimes regular "mail" isn't the way to go. I was hoping someone with some good experience could recommend an alternative.

Only other is UPS, FedEx or similar. I believe UPS has their own delivery service in Mexico but not sure if it is contracted out.

I heard there is a tunnel between Warpdrives house and TJ...not sure what it is used for but I'm sure you could get something "mailed" over in the AM.

I handle packages with care. Not scared to deliver to your back door either.

    Just trying to help.

Ive used Dhl twice;sucked.UPS many many times good but alittle spendy. It helps if you have it delivered to a local Mailboxes Etc. If near you-get packages every day so its on the route.

We lived near Cabo for 8 years. The best way we found for documents was DHL. It took about 4 days to get to La Paz and cost about $40. The regular mail took about 3 to 4 weeks. Hope this helps-Doug

DHL is the best I have found. I send items regurlarily for business. UPS would be my second choice.
The post office in Mexico is veeerry slow.

Thanks for the help everyone, I priced FedEx and UPS and at $90.00 or so for a letter with no guarantees, I opted for USPS priority mail as it sounded about as good for half the price. I'll let you know if and when it arrives... :D
