Those should have a nice tight wiggle by the look of them. Have a great time out there and good luck.

Is Uncle on that trip? Did he ask you to bring a pair of HPA pliers? He liked mine!

We got some samples from Nomad today. They are built like a tank. No fooling around with how Nomad put them together.

Got them rigged up and ready to take on the Excel this coming week.

Will keep you posted from the boat.

Will let you all know when they are in stock.

Well.....As a inquisitive angler. ....may I suggest....before disaster strikes.... that you replace those split rings holding your hooks with TIG welded solid rings.....adding some BB swivels along the way. Over 50 long range trips......and 30 years of research has shown MAJOR advantages of rigging this way. Ask your skipper when you get on the boat (too late now)..... he's seen it all.
Signs that I'm correct? I want you to note ....
1. How many "short biters"?
2. Number of troll fish brought on board...With that config.
3. Troll fish lost. With pictured config.
4. Trolling lures lost....All hook config.

To increase your research.....let every troll team use them. When you get to the "grounds" .... put up a GREAT prize .... and do a trolling competition. Best lure from every troll team competes to see which is the best of the best. Who knows what works best....for "that" trip. Report back here......your TRUTH. Just my toughts and suggestions....

Yeah all that "hype" at the shows....In the fishing mags is just that...."hype". The comment above about wahoo trolling lures being "addictive" shows the angler desire for "the one". They use this.....to put pretty lipstick on a pig.... and sell it to you...with the dream of conquest. Marketing 101.

I have been serious saltwater fishing for 50 years..... and have bought my share of crap.... due to all the hype. Personal observations and on the water experience..... numerous years of hydrodynamic testing has shown me this..... Most of it is to get your money.... With questionable results..... and zero guarantees.

As I have told so many in the past....All that "talk" is just that...talk. While on the boat.... that doesn't mean crap. The proof is in the pudding. Put it in the water....and show me....Over and over....trip after trip....year after year....how good it really works. How durable it really is. How many fish...you can catch on one....before you purposely "retire" it to you own Hall of Fame. Otherwise.....just another sales campaign...moment of person weaknesses.... and a pig with pretty lipstick. Not naming "brands".....just my thoughts...
