    Invited the first dorado of the year to a BBQ yesterday. Caught with live squid on a paddy 9nm off NB. Water was 72 and blue - lots of bait in the area. There were other fish under the paddy but refused invitation to dinner.

    WTG Clarke!!! It looks real good out there. I found a nice spot of 73.5 at 7 miles yesterday but no paddies in that zone unfortunatly.

    I got one on Condor Thurs. fast winding the cedar plug in
    pulling up on a paddy with birds on it! Hint Hint! LOL
    I well remember couple of those El Nino years fishing with
    Norris and Chris on Freelance catching those all summer
    off San Onofre and Laguna beach, glad you scored #1!!!

    Guess what's for dinner tonight???? Good job buddy!

    I dont know about Newport but off the San Clemente Pier at 7 miles it looks incredible.
