Myboarker friends, let me tell you, I wish I had done this the very first day I got the boat. Such a huge difference in comfort.

Contacted Propedatal, Greg, and he was more than helpful in answering all my questions. Ended up going with a 30inch post so I can sit a little higher. Mention my name and he will get you all rigged up properly
    !!!

Seat was just bought on eBay.

    So comfy!

Billy did the screw pattern match up with Parker’s standard pattern? Basically unscrew and then replace and then reacted?

I put one on my Parker too. Night and day difference! Parker's NEED these. Now we fight over who gets to drive the boat. It's the most comfortable seat aboard. Get the foot rest too.

Is that in a 2320? What length post did you go with?

No, mine is a 2820, but a 23 would need one all the more! 30" post too. provided you aren't really tall, the extra viz from the helm is nice.

Do they make these a little shorter than the stock height? I'm 6'1" and would like a seat just a bit lower.

Oh and I am told they compress about an inch once you sit on them so a 27 inch is really a 26 inch when you are using it.

I put them on both sides on my 2520 so the passenger didn't feel beat up either. It helps at the end of the trip when its time to clean the boat! The foot rest is a must.

Nice, the price seems pretty good. How is this compared to seaspension?

Personally, Ive never been on seaspension but what I do know is the owner of pro pedestal was the original engineer for seaspension and had went off and made his own....

I absolutely love mine and will not hesitate to buy another one. Its half the price of too!

Propedestal 27 inch with the Springfield foot rest. This is 1 inch taller than stock. The 30 inch would put my head a little too close for comfort to the the top of the pilot house. The foot rest is a must. Can’t wait to try it out.

Note: The assembly of the ring and the foot rest was a little challenging and requires 2 persons and clamps to pull it together to install the nuts and bolts. Otherwise the install was easy.

The pedestals will compress about an inch when seated, which is the same height as the Parker OEM original 26" and 29". This is because it has 5" of total travel instead of 3.5" allowing more wave impact to be absorbed. The tubing is also twice as thick as the competitor making it much more durable and the footrest to be safely attached to the pedestal. It is absolutely the best value.

i'm 6'3", got the 30 inch (shaved off 1 inch off the top of the tube) in theory a 29. i love the additional height, and my head is not that close to the ceiling. it feels different and allows me to see so much more.
