As an aside, when is Penn going to come out with some real popping rods for the 6500/8500 size reels(eg Slammer 3 hs versions)? In the 7'6" - 8'6" range would be ideal.

I think the specs are off on the Fathom FTH10XNLD at pennfishing. It shows it holds more in terms of mono (470/12 405/15 270/20) than the 15 yet the braid ratings (335/20 255/30 175/50) are probably correct. But I'll forgive you for coming out with the Fathom 15xnld2!
Same here! Was about to pull the trigger on a Torque 15 XN and thought why not save a few Benjamins
Funny - I'm in the same situation on the 15XN. Would have bought the Torque last week if I could have found one in stock! Tempted to just wait for the Fathom.
So, of the ICAST intro's, this one is at the top of my list.

Probably not until early October.
Only available in 2-speed, but there will be a "LEFTY" 2-speed also.
the Fathom , 25 LDS 2, I kept this one,
and Sold my Valiant 400 , to use as
my 30 LB , live bait set up.
