What a great boat and crew. One of my favorites for sure. Ended up with a 220lb bft and a 50lb yft. Truly epic fishing going on right now. We almost completely filled the fish hold! Get out there and get on ‘em while the bite is hot. DEFINITELY bring your heavy gear. Lots of casualties on gear that was too light (60# and lighter). I lost a cow size bft on 80lb Seaguar blue label flouro (Talica 20ii / UC Centaur / drag set @ 25lbs) after he chewed through my line 30 minutes into the fight. Thought I should have been able to land it with 80lb, but hey, shit happens sometimes. Would have been better off with my Mak 20 / 130lb flouro / UC Viper ... but who’s to say anything over 80lb would even get bit at that moment. You never know what’s gonna go down. At least give yourself a fighting chance by showing up with the right gear. Good luck out there guys.

Nice pic Jeremiah, just noticed this report. So if you lost one on 80#, what brought this big boy onboard? Great job and thanks for posting. Hope to post a report like this soon myself.

Yeah, I picked that one pic out of many taken at that moment cause he had the rockstar fish killin pose goin on in the background. Glad you noticed. Adam is a good dude and runs a good boat/crew. Gotta give him a chance to shine and live through my photos too!

Awesome! Congrats! NLA and crew are great too,
I have had some very bad luck with a certain brand of fluoro. The breaks have been very clean. Not chewed through. I have had no problems with Yozuri and Blackwater. Just sayin...
