Captain said they skunked. Hope I heard wrong or he was wrong.
If it weren’t for finding that second school, we could have come back with a single 20#

    Thanks.
We actually arrived at the spot and then saw their spotter plane flew close to us before the jerks showed up.
Would like to hear from someone fishing the Tomahawk to share more info.

Nice report, was there any Toro at all on these fishes?

Also pointing the rod straight at the fish when you are fishing heavy lines will alleviate the strain on your back trust me, I have done it many times and it worked wonder on cow tuna, not to be done on light line, too much strain on the main line.
Make the fish fight the drag of the reel, not the rod, it acts as a shock absorbers. Definitely an East Coast technique.

    BFT Cheek meat taste awesome

    This

Ever try to break off a jig stuck on the bottom??? point the rod at it wind down and pull...

you can pull a LOT harder pointing the rod at the fish and its easier on the body...

I don't recommend it unless you know what you are doing but once you have their head turned its and easy way to keep them coming
