Thanks everyone! I hope anyone who's going out boats their personal bests!! Big tuna are the coolest fish in the sea. There's just nothing better. For anyone who wants to fish with my dad in the flesh, hes building up a crew to fish the New Lo An again on the 27th. We had too many friends freak out when they saw our pictures. Us brothers won't make it unfortunately.

Haha , He turned 50 this year!!!! and can grow an even sweeter beard than Bennett or me. I was actually born one month before my dad caught his first 100 pounder (the one in the pic) in '94.

And the orange flags on the rods is my dads signature move when we fish party boats. He says its to keep track of the rods but I think he just likes looking down the rail and generally seeing an orange flag rod bent!! Haha

The red ribbon was their secret to attracting the Tuna.

I was on this trip and these boys were hooked up, doing the full boat tour all day long. Every time you heard under or over, it would be a rod with that red ribbon. I was getting real tired of these guys walking there Tunas in front of us! Such show offs. JK. I unfortunately left my red ribbon at home and had a harder time getting bit. I did however land 1.

What an amazing trip! This family absolutely slayed that day! Great report! Great fishing! Great memories!
