Many of you who know me have watched me put fish away from a 15'11 Arima for the last 20 years from Oregon to BC.
Time has come to close that chapter and open up a new one. I sold my Arima to Big O, and take delivery of a 2018 Cutwater 302 in about a week and a half. She is in Bellingham getting commissioned and rigged with bottom paint competed last week, and a 25 hp efi Yammy kicker plumbed into the aft station this week. While it is back out of the water 'ducers are getting installed, and I decided on a Airmar B175chw thru hull and Garmin Gt 15m-IH in hull. This will be the first thru-hull ever installed on this hull model forward of the step, so i'm a bit anxious to see how it will turn out.

Tons of Lazarette storage and a 300 gallon fuel tank. I'm going to build a bracket to store the second fish box down in the bilge to make way for inflatable storage:

We were looking for a boat that switch hit between fishing machine, dive boat, and inside passage pocket cruiser and this model fit the bill. Test drives were incredible. She handles the chop and quick turns with ease and confidence. I'll be bringing her down from Bellingham to the north marina in Everett on or around the 30th.

Thanks to Wild Bill, John Hansen, Mark Coleman, Art Olsen, & the guys at Three Rivers for answering questions and helping me outfit her.

Trailer, truck, and ability to tow her to the coast in another year.

I cant sleep right now.

Beautiful boat, Congratulations. There is a local dealer in my area and they have brought boats to the Fred Hall shows for a few years. The Cutwater's are well thought out boats and the single diesel versions are remarkably fuel efficient. I may upgrade the C-30CB at some point.
