New Charter Operation at Crystal Cove

    Took the fam for a day at the beach at Crystal Cove yesterday.

    Looks like someone is starting a new panga operation there. The boat looks pretty nice, by the looks of it, I think it could comfortably accomodate 10 to 15 anglers. Didn't notice any bait tanks, rod holders or electronics yet. Looks like it was getting a safety inspection by the Coast guard.

    They sure do like that beach. They are there 2 or 3 times a year.

    If there was a fishing rod on that panga, everyone would be in jail and there would be a headline in the "Patch". Since no fishing rods, no big deal as far as the gov't and press is concerned.

    haha thats funny. you know I heard it's finders keepers with those things. be the first on the scene, write your name on it and you may get a free panga year later after the agencies are done with i.

    Damn, shoulda wrote your name on it and it would have been yours, abandoned vessel!Crabber Pockets a Panga The Santa Barbara Independent I was there yesterday too, seriously gonna put a can of spray paint on my boat, this is happening way too often, and i could use an extra panga.

    Pretty burly to beach a boat right there in that shorebreak. Yikes.
