Hello
Planning to go on a multiday trip for BFT.

I've been fishing for yellowtail and other inshore species but no experience in tuna fishing yet.
I head that I need some 20-25#, 30#, 40#, 50-60# setup...
I need your help to choose the right gear for every setup.

I have following rods and reels.
Reels:
Trinidad 12, 14, 16
Accurate Tern 400X
Talica 8ii, 12ii
Avet LX Raptor 2spd

Rods:
UC US80MEGA 15-40
UC CE800 Monster 30-50
UC US80 Predator 40-80
Rainshadow 7' 60-100
Calstar GG6480 8' 30-60
Seeker PH D8 20-40
Seeker SB Ulua 20-50

I probably need extra reels and rods, please recommend new gears if you can.

thank you guys!

    Thanks!! heavy setup like 60-80#?
What rod & reel do you recommend?
It depends on how much you want to spend? For the least expensive option it would be a Penn FTH60LDS2 you could get 700 yards of 100lb but it needs to be a low diameter like Jerry Brown 100lb which is .43 because like .55 nets like 550yrd of 100lb? What lb is on the LX? You could get away with that for a 80lb and use it for heavy flat fall also...

I am willing to spend more for better gears.
LX has 80lb braid on it.

Penn FTH gear is great gear and the Penn Torque also can handle a 200-250lb fish but I sure like the Avet HXW Raptor that would be a great 100lb reel might as well stay on the Avets I fish both Avets and Penns. Use the LX to bait fish if you sinker rig.
