I recently won a lexa400, Trinidad 16, and a talica 20.. I paired the Trinidad with a black diamond Phenix. What should I pair the lexa with. Would like to use it for irons.. talica 20 I have no idea. Newbie to fishing.., question is. Should I use the Trinidad for irons and lexa for flylining? What rod? Also what can I pair the talica with ? I will be using the gear at Catalina and SCI
    Help?

I use mine on an 809XHJ and its the most fun jigstick ive ever owned. Its perfect for big YT, Seabass and Tuna. Its even fun with a big sumo 7x for jumbo calico in the weeds. Obviously a little heavy for calico but still fun.

If you want to go a little lighter it pairs nice with the 808 as well. I use a NACL on that rod and love it.

I have two Lexa 400s... One I bought not long after they came out and put on a Seeker white tiger '7X' 9' jig stick. Outstanding... Have killed plenty of YT and YFT with it. Just bought another that I put on a Phenix Axis 9' jig stick. Haven't gotten to really use it yet, but it sure casts great.

    Lexa for irons
Trinidad on an 8ft stick for fly lining but capable of irons in a pinch
Talica 20 on a 60/80lb stick. Flat falls, rubberband rig n bait for the bigger models if theyre cooperating.
