Have a Mac that was acting up. It got wiped today and it's not allowing us to install an OS on it. Need someone that knows what they are doing to install a fresh copy of OS X El Capitan on it ASAP.
Contact me direct [email protected] / Private Message and we can line up a time to come by the office in San Diego.
I pay with a brand new Phenix rod or a check.

You gotta start with a lower OS and upgrade to a current one- At least that what I had to do when I replaced my drive.

x2 I had the same problem and just did this on an older laptop. I had to upgrade to the latest version of Yosemite before going to Capitan. I wish I was in SD this week or I'd be all over this!

It was on Lion, tried to upgrade it to Yosemite and it wouldn't let us so we wiped the whole thing. No Time Machine to restore to oops. It's basically a blank drive. I tried putting snow leopard on it (only disk in the office) and it would just beep 3 times at me rejecting the os.

Find an OS 9 disk and start there if you can. If I were closer I could help with older disk's

Jason, if you were in LA area, I would be able to take a look at it for you. I had a problem with my MacBook Pro a couple years ago when I was trying to upgrade the OS but afterwards, it never booted up. What I did was download a copy of the OS onto a USB stick and boot it from there. You can get the OS installation on Apple website. After reinstalling the previous OS, it allowed me to run my computer in its previous state. I later was able to properly update my OS.

It wants to have the original Apple ID in order to install an OS. I have no idea what the original account is.

Ouch... that might be a problem. At least if you know the email, you can reset your password. I don't think I would be able to solve the original account problem. You might need to take it up with Apple. =/

I hate even walking by an Apple Store with all the liberal piece of shits around... I don't own any Birkenstock and I wear deodorant.

Haha! You can also do a live chat with Apple where somebody will walk you through the trouble shooting process via online chat. This way you can avoid the above.
I was actually kinda impressed as they were able to assist me pretty quickly with a similar issue on upgrading one of my Mac's. You just need a second computer to chat with them with. I used my laptop.

o.k. NOT! an expert just trying to figure things out.... It should work.. your computer supports that OS system.. never heard of the 3 beeps then ejecting, or needing the original apple ID unless you are using a copy of the upgrade, if so then you would have to find the person with the original disc you got the copy from and that password would be on some part of the packaging of the original disc.. if that's not the case here is the link that could get you in the right problem solving direction!..http://www.everymac.com/mac-answers...itan-compatible-macs-system-requirements.html once again NOT an expert just trying to help!.. good luck!.... and the comment about the apple store was funny as hell!

    Thanks.

Ask Maggie about her trip to the Apple store with me and the PETA folks outside. I don't think she would go with me again...

No. If that one breaks I am trying to fix it 24/7 until it's fixed.
