Spent a couple of weeks fishing and visiting family in N Carolina. Lake Tillery was the destination. Day after day of fishing, fireworks and jet skis. Note worthy was this striper that thought it could handle a mullet much bigger than it's mouth. We motored by it and then came back around. I noticed its fins were still going so I noodled it. I tried to yank the mullet but it was not easy on a pitching tiny boat. We ended up calling it a catch and heading back in for fish tacos. I've always heard about it but never saw it. The bream were wide open each day as well as the channel cats every night.
