FOR SALE IN SAN DIEGO selling one excellent condition used Shimano TLD20AII two speed fishing reel - I am selling because I've upgraded to Avet HXW Raptor 3-speed - the TLD was paired to a custom Calstar Grafighter GF 760L 6-foot roller rod

    SOLD

    INCLUDED AS PICTURED (actual items):
    1. The Shimano reel, 2-speed graphite saltwater jigging trolling bait reel
    2. The Tiburon T-Bar Lite handle T-B 2030 (Squidco installed new but never fished with it)
    3. The spectra in excellent condition (the braid line changes color every 25 feet to help meter depth on those deep flat fall drops or trolling distance) - includes the mono topshot
    4. The original handle (from an older TLD 20) - it is pictured in the Tiburon bag
    5. Shimano brand graphite reel clamp
    6. Original box, instructional manual, wrench
BUY AND OWN MY LUCKY TLD 20 A - taken on three 1.5 day San Clemente Island big bluefin tuna trips - it traveled and sat in the rack protected in a reel pouch most of the time (I baby my gear as I only get out a couple times a year) - my cleaning routine after each trip was lock down the drag, submerge and rotate reel in a bucket of weak STOP SALT, rinse off, open the drag and let it dry out. The reel has never been opened up

I bought the reel new from an authorized Shimano dealer off eBay in mid 2017 - in 2017 I caught three bluefin (50-70#) with it flylining sardines with 60lb Seaguar fluorocarbon tied to the Ande mono using a triple surgeons knot

Out of the box - I installed the Power Pro Depth Hunter solid core braid - 1500 ft (500 yards) - the full 500 yards is intact on the reel (minus a couple FG Knot reties when I changed the 60# Ande Pink topshot August 2018) - the top shot is 125ft - I used line for a few dozen flat fall drops on my 2018 trip (no bites)

    PRICE:
$225 - ALL ITEMS AS PICTURED
    $195 WITHOUT LINE
THESE PRICES ARE PRETTY FIRM FOR NOW

I will be putting this on eBay soon if you want that option - I will ship USPS Priority Mail box for $10 additional or pick up in San Diego - if you want it shipped - I will email you an invoice off paypal-com - both parties must qualify for PayPal buyer/seller protection contract

This item is ready to fish

Note: this photo was taken new out of the box (July 2017) - it shows the original handle (the Tiburon upgraded handle and PowerPro spectra braid comes installed with mono topshot as pictured below)

The handle pictured in the bag is an old used TLD20 2-speed handle (non A model, it's pretty beat up) - I lost track of the original that came with this reel - probably left it at the Squid place when they installed the T-BAR LITE ... The TBar comes preinstalled on the reel as pictured

debating if i should just keep this great reel and fish it with 40lb for when the plus-size tuna are line shy

strip the 500yards of depth hunter for a deep jig rig - and respool it with with several hundred yards of braid remnant and top it off with a long 40lb mono topshot - or just all 330 yards of 40 mono
