I know that's the "house" gun Mike, but are you going to have to go downrange again anytime soon? Or are you still stuck here in the world for a while?

gotta love the green tip ammo, i'm sure its a felony tho in california http://www.cheaperthandirt.net/product/AMM-223C

you can even get the red tip tracers legally in the right state http://www.cheaperthandirt.net/product/AMM-224

doesn't look like i'll be heading downrange anytime soon, i'm still recovering from having my spine fused at the L-5 S-1 region. I've soaked up nearly 200k in healthcare since i've been here and have been on roughly 4 mos of con lv. it would appear that the human body is not designed serve as a lightfighter for 16 years straight, unfortunately i never got that email when it was sent out!!!

M855 greentip ammo is NOT illegal in CA. However, tracers are indeed illegal.

M855 is a barrier defeating ammo. It has poor terminal ballistics in flesh. Good ammo for SHTF, but not the best choice for self defense.

Most ranges in So Cal will not allow you to shoot M855 greentip. This is because the ammo features a steel core, and can cause fires when shooting steel plates.
There have been a number of fires at my local ranges because of people shooting steel core or bi-metal jacket ammo.
