I just started off-shore fishing with my husband last month. He started me out on a half-day boat, and I was hooked! We booked another half-day almost immediately...and then another. We were just going for rockfish, but I kept seeing other boats come in with BIG fish. My husband told me the big fish were Bluefin, and we'd need to go on a full-day boat to try and catch one. So I booked a full-day boat 
and it paid off!!! I know it was probably beginners luck, but I brought home a 60+lbs BLUEFIN. I will never forget the feeling when I saw my fish nearing the surface, but the feeling I got once my fish was on deck and the fight was over was INSANE.
We went fishing out of H&M Landing in San Diego, on the Grande (07/03/21). There were 35 anglers and the fish count was: 14 Bluefin, 1 Yellowfin. The crew was awesome, and I loved talking to other anglers on the boat, who I learned so much from....such a rad community of people with a badass hobby!
