Finally was able to get my daughter ( 7 ) on the water for some hooping with my buddy John . The kid loves to fish and always has in the Surf ,Lakes , River Etc. but has never had the oppurtunity to get out hooping with me until the other night. The look on that kids face when we pulled up nets that were holding was PRICELESS !!! Ended up having a decent night with a few keeps (13) on the boat but memories that I will not soon forget. Give a Kid a BUG and feed them for the day...........Teach a Kid to Hoop and feed them for LIFE...LOL . Was just thinking any of you out there that have Kids would appreciate this thread and if you were considering getting them out on the water with you don't wait any longer you will probably end up enjoying as much or more than they do. Funny thing is and I didn't know it until I was taking her to school this morning. She was suppose to write a short story about how she spent her 3 day weeekend and here is what she wrote ........................I know we are working on the spelling???

Absolutely priceless and after each time we go they let me know that they can't wait till the next time and absolutely love it!!!! lobsters, crabs, fish, eels, seals around,,,, what fun for any kid. Great job dad. later, Dave

Best thing I've seen in quite a while!
    Well Done!

My daughter just turned 6 & has tons of experience on the boat but has yet to go hooping, been toying with the idea if we get some warmer nights.
    Thanks for the inspiration!

Thats the stuff right there! Enjoy it and take her as much as she will go, you may end up with the best lifelong fishing partner a dad could ask for. Great job.

Great post Troy. Enjoy these times while they last. They aren't that age forever. Reminds me of the times fishing with my daughter. Those were awesome times and a great age to be with them. A few more years and I will get to take the grandson out to start the process over. Way to go pops.
