I inherited some muzzleloading stuff from my dad. There are a couple of pounds of black powder, some .54 cal lead balls, some percussion caps and other shooting related items. Is it legal to sell these items person to person or does it have to go through a licensed dealer? Thanks.

Mike, as of now muzzleloaders are classified as a curio or relic and not a firearm.
If the black powder is real and not a modern synthetic like Pyrodex of 777 it will require a hazmat designation to ship is and is not worth the hastle.

Only takes an ORM-D sticker and easy to ship through UPS or Fedex. Pyrodex 777 needs the same designation even in pellet form.
