All three of these boats are running an overnight trip out of H&M Thurs-Fri and I need to pick one. I know nothing about any of them. They vary in max load and price with DP having the lowest load (18) and middle price ($245). Looking for opinions about Captains and crew, general fishyness, comfort, etc...
OR, if there is a boat out of Seaforth (easier parking, right?) please suggest it.
As always, TIA for your comments.

Only fished the Relentless...mini staterooms below are awesome. Mikey knows his bluefin...I was actually looking to get a couple of guys in on chartering them specifically to target the big bft.

Not sure what type of fishing you're looking for but an Overnight will likely do the offshore patty type thing. Maybe send them messages on Facebook to see if there are game plans for species.

Agreed but don't see any leaving tomorrow night. I have a couple 4.5's booked for later though. I want to be out all day Friday because there will be no power where I live. Not really into the 3/4 (now "full" ?) day Coronado trips, maybe if Liberty were going but they're not.

I caught my first Bluefin, a nice 65-70 pound fish, on the Daiwa Pacific. It was my first time on the boat and what I can say is that the captain, Ken Baruch, chased fish hard all day. The boat isn't the biggest, but just based on how we set up on the fish and chased them all day, I would definitely ride the boat again. I also liked the firm and clear instructions he gave to everyone on board about how we were supposed to fish, following our lines, etx... The captain definitely doesn't waste time waiting for people to pull up their lines. When he says its time to go, you better start cranking your line in and get ready to go!!! :)

I took a trip on the Mustang last year and it was great. Captain was firm, ethical, and he found the fish for us. Comfortable boat, would not hesitate to ride again.

Hmmm... 2 votes for Relentless, one for each of the others and no complaints about any of them. I guess I'll see who still has space and pick one. Thanks guys!

Well Relentless had one spot left this morning so I grabbed it. Hopefully you get what you pay for, it's the higher price of the three ;)

Wow that was like 6-7 trips ago and I don't honestly remember any specifics. I do know I came away saying "next..." and put the boat on my "no thank you" list ( as opposed to my "never again" list). I honestly don't remember why, could be as simple as small, uncomfortable bunk or something. Gotta start keeping a log of these boats for comparison :) My "yes please any time any gameplan" list is getting long enough now that I may not have to try too many new boats in the future :D
