It's up and running out H&M Landing this summer, with a 1.5 trip

25 years ago as a young kid I did an overnight trip when it was wfo yft close to home & mustang was the my only option as all the boats in the fleet were full. It was a pos back then!
I clearly remember one of the main deckhands dealing with some duties & I was think to myself, "what a tweeker"...
Didnt even know what a tweeker was back then but was obvious...

I'm sure Steve will have the boat in fishing shape and run a tight operation.
I look forward to giving it a shot this summer.

It sounds like Steve gawitt reporting on "the other site". If that is who is running it, I will for sure fish the mustang this season. Those gawitt boys get shit done and know how to run a boat.

If he is anything like Gregg and owns the boat, it will be in fishing shape and will be fished hard.

I often wondered what happened to the Mustang. I fished her a few times 20 or 25 years ago. The skipper was a surly old salty. Believe his name was Myron but could be wrong. I had some nice albacore trips on her.
