New to the forums, Aloha I am moving back to the islands and I started fishing here in San Diego. Theres not much going on right now (El Nino). Anyways I just wanted to know if anyone is interested in taking me out to catch some nice fish? I have my own gear and can split the cost. I should be on the Islands in late october, if I get the job. Mahalo's

Good luck Jason. There are some members on here from HI that are in the Navy stationed over there. When they get to fish or spear they are in paradise.

The boat is actually my brothers, he can't move with me so boat stays. If I'm nice to the wifey she just might let me get one:) She will probably make me sell one of my cars though.

    Aloha Jason,

I've been out here for about two years now. I mostly spearfish, but make it out trolling once in a while. There are quite a few Haole guys here on Bloodydecks and a couple of great locals. The hospitality from both camps cannot be beat! I'm sure you won't have a hard time hooking up with someone to get out trolling. Best of luck with the new job! Look me up when you get into town.

    -Matt

Thanks for all the replies fellas. Matt, I just fished on the Mission Belle out of Point Loma last week and killed the Sand Bass. There were 2 guys who came out and neither of the them fished in the ocean before. One guy caught a 30lb Yellow tail and the other guy caught a bigger Blue Fin Tuna.

Sweet! I'm headed the other way so will be moving back to San Diego in the spring. I'll be working on the Daily Double and possibly Point Loma and Mission Belle again next season. Miss that job!
