Mounting locations for Airmar B175HW

I’m thinking of getting the Airmar B175HW transducer for my Parker 2320 with transom mounted 250 Yamaha. I’m wondering where you guys recommend mounting it and the route you run the cables?
Also I’m running it to my Simrad NSS Evo 2 which is compatible. The other option is the Airmar B75M which only needs 600 watts and is cheaper. But I’d rather buy once and cry once if the B175HW is better.

B175HW 20 degree goes under the battery tray. You'll probably have to trim some of that shelf and slide the batter over and re-support.

I don’t have the swim step so you guys think in the center down in the bilge? Or above on the. After shelf starboard/port? Photos?

If you have a 20 degree transducer it needs to be on the dead rise portion not the flat part if that’s what you’re asking. Also when you install there is a arrow the says keel. This points to the center line (inboard).

Get the B175HW you wont regret it. Mount it on the opposite of your 3/4” raw water intake. When i drilled the hole in my hull the thickness of the hull was significantly thicker toward the transom. I had to sand the inside of the hull to get the transducers nut/gasket to fit properly. Use 4200 in case you ever have to take the transducer out years down the road. You can run the cable with all the others up the starboard side under the gunnel.

Ok so should I mount in the bilge or mid hatch or does it even matter? Also I get the 20 degree dead rise model?

just installed a 175HW with a 20 degree tilt on the starboard side my 2320 couple photos attached. you can place it on flat part of the keel but would need the 0 degree 175
