Another really nice morning of surf fishing with great conditions. No surf "exotics" today, but plenty of larger model BSP's all taken on the Kalin's Grub/Uni Butter combo (again).
The mackerel and sardine schools have started to make a showing down at the pier, which is always a welcome sign and usually precedes the arrival of larger game fish, sharks and rays in the surf zone down here. If the weather holds, the water temps should start to inch up over the next few weeks and hopefully lure some more quality surf feeders to within range.

Shimano TDR-80M2. I have a 7' in the same model, but the 8 footer loads really well with 1-1/2 ozs. of weight and can be used to cast really far with a good "round" type levelwind. Big 5 with BD coupon...less than $30.00.
