What treble hooks are on their?

They are Owner ST-66 "extra heavy" trebles, up one size [or even 2 sizes] from "stock". As shown there are 2/0, 3/0, and 4/0's.
"Regular" treble hooks are not especially good.
For whatever reason, the tuna on this trip were mostly biting the jigs "on the retrieve" [as fast as you could crank it].
Treble hooks are often better under those conditions.
The "dual dancing" style hooks are better when the majority of the bites are coming "on the sink".
I made the adjustment during the trip after missing several bites.

Do you think the jigs get bit better with the split ring and solid ring on top?

Not positive that the fish care, but I definitely prefer to tie my line to a solid ring instead of a split ring.

But this wasn't the rigging. I bridled the jig like this

Hooked 4 BFT all solid corner jaw hook-ups 2 on the drop 2 on the crank/medium speed crank. Smallest 120# biggest 185#.

7'6" UC Viper paired with a Mak 20 SEa loaded with 700 yards of 100# braid to 15' 100# fluoro direct tied to the 12/0 Eagle Claw 2004 C-Hook.

19 minutes bite to gaff, sealed the deal at 40# of drag.
