Offshore More Good Times on the Triton

50' Gail Force - 60' Triton
Another fun day for the boys fishing aboard the Triton today out of Long Beach Sportfishing. After hearing the lower zone down by the corner/border was a little on the slow side Capt Bryan decided to fish a little closer to home in beautiful 72 - 73 degree water and it paid off. They were fishing about 45 miles from the harbor and the first piece of kelp turned into a 3+ hour stop for almost 50 yellowfin and about 20 yellowtail. After the first stop a few more kelps yielded the boats limit of yellowtail for the day. The rest of the day was spent stopping on meter marks, breaking fish and bird schools for not to much. No lack of fish just lack of BITING fish. The morning to late morning was diffidently bite time today.
After it was all said and done the boat ended up with 57 Yellowfin and limits of Yellowtail for its 20 passengers. All in all a fun day with beautiful weather.

The Triton has a limited load open party overnight trip departing this Sunday 9/7 for fishing on Monday 9/8. This trip is limited to only 20 passengers at $175 per angler. Boat departs Long Beach Sportfishing at 8pm and will return Monday around 7 - 8pm. We will be fishing offshore for Tuna, Dorado, Yellowtail ect..
