That's amazing. So glad to hear there are states that manage for the wildlife and for the hunter. Amazing concept. Try getting a good deer or elk tag for you kids in CA. Has to be there worst youth program in the country.

And I don't even want to hear the total 'cost' of all of those! I want out of Cali but the granddaughter is 11 and wifey isn't leaving just yet!

    Good luck this year!

Awesome. Although our resident tag costs aren't as cheap in Colorado I am also sitting on a good bunch of tags as well. Hunting two of them within a few miles of my front door.

Good for you, I've got no less than 34 deer in my front yard everyday, they are my decoys.Last year they brought me in a 30 inch 6x6 mule deer forgot to mention I didn't shoot him watched him for a month then he dropped his antlers in my yard one side at a time, super neat now they are in my flower bed

No groundhogs here but 2 miles down the road on one of my friends ranches he has one of the biggest prairie dog towns I've ever seen. 1 month ago my son ,his wife and I shot over 200 in 1 morning shoot , from 50 feet to 450 yards, now that's a way to get some trigger time

    34 is a lot. Awesome.

I am only on 5 acres. 16 I think was the most I have counted on my property at once. Planting corn and pumpkins next year sooo that number could increase.

We're looking for a 20-40 acre plot in Montana, Wyoming or Idaho right now. We want to be within 100 miles of Yellowstone since we snowmobile there every year. We have a condo that we rent out in Granby, Colorado but want to build a cabin up there. Any well priced areas advice/help would be appreciated. Cheers brother.

We hit -30 degrees a few times last year. But you dress for it . Sure it's cold but really it's not that bad. Life goes on. You can still go outside if you want. You don't have to stay indoors and huddle around your AC.

My grandparents were long time Arizona residents, they lived at the base of Superstition mountain back in the late 1950 s . I can remember going down there when I was younger and staying the summer so I know a little about sun screen. I wasn't saying anything bad , don't get me wrong every place has its good and bad parts. I was just saying for what I like to do nowadays Montana is great.I grew up in Washington State and since moving to Montana the webs on my feet are finally starting to go away.
