So, Chronic Wasting Disease was found in Montana, and WA is now particular about what you can bring back and how.

How are you Montana hunting dudes bringing deer back from Montana? You having someone there process it and ship it?

    Here's the info:

My current plan is to get handy with some butcher paper and do my best, and bring the grindable back to someone here for pepperoni and such.

I have it inspected and then bring it back in coolers. Have to have the head signed off to bring it back and skull fleshed and skinned.

Debone in camp. Cut skull plate as small as possible and boil and or scrape. The deer we get rarely come out whole so half the boning will get done in the field. Unless you want a european mount there is no need to bring the whole skull home.

Spinal cord and brain is where that shit lives according to wyoming fish and game. Bring a pot to boil the skull and have the meat processed in montana. Or like Wild Bill, bone out and cut skull cap.
