heh, you could probably pop a turkey or two with a slingshot from the beach......the place was loaded with them last time I was there on race day.....

reminds me of the time a few years ago I escorted a marine chopper pilot in the paddle board race...and coming up on the cliffs by Hawaii Kai, we pulled up behind a Brazilian chick tag-team doing stand-up...in g-strings...man that must be some chafing in the channel...memories, memories...well the boys did manage to pass them, barely...

    tight lines,

Just a FYI for those of you that have never paddled before, especially the women. They usually slather up with vaseline in all the heavy chafe areas, or channels as you call them. It helps tremendously with the rubbing and makes for a lot of comfort over the duration of the paddling session.

Let me know if anyone needs to arange for fuel topping off at Kaunakakai ahead of time so I can get someone to pump your boat. You can contact Capt Don, he knows how to reach me or PM me.

    Be safe out there guys.
