Here is the tentative route for the San Diego Area bus to the MLPA. Keep in mind that this route may change based upon where the committed riders are coming from. Pick-up points will be finalized later. If you live along this path and want to join see the "Cheap and Easy..." thread and PM me.

For everyone who wants to get on the bus you need to e-mail me at [email protected] to reserve a spot and then we will make arrangements for payment, which is $20 per seat. First come first served. Please include your area, # of seats needed, desired p/u spot, and e-mail address.

    PICK-UP SPOTS

Parkway Plaza - El Cajon - I-8 and N. Johnson
University Town Center - La Jolla - I-805 and Miramar Road
    Park-n-Ride - Oceanside I-5 and SR-78
Mission Viejo Mall - Mission Viejo - I-5 and Crown Valley Pkwy
Glenn's Tackle - Costa Mesa - I-405 and South Bristol
    Long Beach MLPA Meeting

A stop in north county would be nice. How about Oceanside?

I'm not 100% familiar with El Cajon, so if someone would suggest a centrally located spot with good parking and easy freeway access for a bus that would become the likely spot. Perhaps a park and ride. For Oceanside I think it would be way up near the harbor, but I don't want to send the bus into the harbor proper. The other Oceanside option would be at the 78. I think there is a park and ride there.

    Chuck,

There is a park and ride at the junction of the 78 and 5 with easy freeway access.

    Deano,

Maybe we should go the day before and bring in some doormats for show and tell when the scientists say all the big fish are gone :D

Would love to fish with you guys the next day, but it would be a long walk back since I'm taking the bus.............
