I am putting together another limited load charter (18 spots) on the Pacific Voyager out of Seaforth. 2.5 day trip.

Leaves Friday night May 28th at 6:00PM! and returns Monday the 31st EARLY AM. 2021

Targeting best bite. Saturday will probably find us offshore chasing tuna and paddy hopping. If we do well we will stay offshore and get our limits. If not we will come in shore for YT and rockfish. (This hasn't happened for many years)

As always each angler will get 3 rod holders. All the rest of your rods go up near the bow. Based on your manifest number. Odds on the starboard side and evens on the port.

$600.00 includes the boat, fuel and food! First come....first served

With Covid I want you all to consider this....As an insurance policy I am asking for everybody to add $100.00 to the trip. If somebody (You) get's covid and I can't get a replacement for him/her we will refund that person's $600.00. (So far everyone has included this with their payment)

Up to 3 people get sick they get all their money back. If more get sick we refund $1800.00 divided by that number. If we all get sick, we get back the $100.00 plus whatever I can get Mark to agree to. He might keep the $1000.00 deposit, but I am pretty sure I can get the balance back. I have been running this charter for 25 years!

There would have to be a couple of rules. Like 72 hour notice before departure. "Family emergencies" don't count. This is for covid! As always I will have a wait list and I have always been able to fill last minute emergencies. If I fill from the wait list we all get the $100.00 refund. I will bring 18 hundred dollar bills to the landing and hand them to you before we board. You guys know me and I have never mishandled funds nor been dishonest. Let me know what you think about this. I am just trying to offer a parachute in case you get covid a week before the trip.

Mexican Permits = $30.00 if you don't have one.

Mexican Visa = $15.00 if you don't have one.

This is gonna be a fun trip with a very good group.

Don't miss it. email or PM me soon!

Make sure you have a current Mexican permit....and you must bring a passport. Permits will be available for purchase on the boat as well. As always I make NO money on these trips. This is the cost.

Note...Chuck had to cancel today. I had back surgery on 4/26. It did not go well and I ended up in severe pulmonary edema. I spent a couple of days on a ventilator in the ICU at St. Josephs. All monies are fine and all will be paid before departure. Everyone will be getting back their COVID insurance $100.00 at the Landing. I have some lingering effects from the PE and I don't want to jeopardize this trip so I reluctantly canceled myself today. Have a GREAT time and plug that boat!!

One of the most enjoyable trips I ever had was a Fathers’ Day charter put together by Chuck. Plus the Pacific Voyager is a great operation.

Man, this looks like a really good trip at a great price. If airline tickets weren't jacked up due to the holiday weekend... I'm in Albuquerque, so would have to drive. Hmmm...

You might be fine, but if some bigger fish come around, you’ll wish you had an 80#-100# rig.
Particularly at night. Dropping a flatfall or deep sinker w/ a sardine with heavy gear is the best way to get that fish of a lifetime. But, our last charter two years ago, most fish were caught on 30# outfits. BFT to around 75#. A few on 40#, but not many.
Bring a big rig if you can. There are tuna out there over 200#.
This trip looks very promising. Bluefin and Yellowtail being caught now and it will only get better.

    See you on the boat!
