Fished with Start Me Up on Maui on July 26, 2010. Captain was Craig and deckhand was Ed. I'd fish with either/both of these guys again. They really gave it a good effort, and worked hard for what we got.

We ended up with 1 ono. We also had three mahi strikes, one that came off at the boat, and 2 that didn't stick. But it was a fun trip made even more fun by Ed and Craig. Here are some pictures:

My nephew wasn't feeling so great.

Nice accomodations on a 42' Bertram.

My nephew perked up and waited for the fish.

    His patience was rewarded.

20 pounder (his previous biggest fish was a calico).

Ed on the left, Craig on the right (fish with them if you get the chance. Very nice guys and they worked hard).

You keep your catch with Start Me Up. Seared, raw, bbq'd. Soooooooo dang good.

Overall a fun trip. The fish didn't cooperate, and the wind blew all day, but I'm glad we went. As stated, I'd fish with Ed, Craig and Start Me Up again any time.

Nice going on the trip with Start Me Up. Great way to turn your nephew onto fishing-I'm sure it's a trip he'll never forget. One question though, where's the RICE?

    Aloha,
