No way is that a mako! Makos don't eat seals! duh!
Sure a lot of videos showing Makos of all sized eating Sea Lions lately. Whoda thunk it.
Begs the question as to why we're seeing it more this year than other years.
With less pelagics being seen in our local waters is it driving the makos to another food source?
Although we are faced with a mounting sealion problem, one which should and is being dealt with naturally in this video, it is always sad to see an intelligent creature perish. Come on Shark, great meal choice, but at least put the poor bugger out of his misery...
I was thinking the same thing Marcus. If Makos don't migrate like Whites they would have to adapt to another food source that has the same characteristics of food they are used to. Notice the missing back end just like how they take Pelagics. OUCH
