My 15 year old is a cancer survivor. He was diagnosed at the age of 4 with a cancer that was treatable surgically. It was five years of hell stressing every follow up CT and MRI hoping for good results. I am sure the whole experience took a couple of years off my life. It is something as a parent that you never forget or really get over. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about it. We were lucky. James made out very well and fishes and hunts with me even as a 15 year old. Many kids will not be so lucky. Don't think for a minute it could not happen to you as a parent. We will fish the Make A Wish. We do it every year for the kids who really do need for their wish to come true.
Same here. It can happen to any family - in a flash you're fighting for survival. My brothers and I are in. My oldest brother, Brian, is with Stanley and he arranges for their support in the goodie bags every year. My girlfriend, Cherie, arranges for the Vizio TVs thru the charitable foundation she works for. When my daughter was being treated this organization was right there with steady support. It make a big difference to the kids and the parents.
Hi Larry, We met you guys at Fred Hall in Del Mar. We still need to get you to our yacht Club for dinner. Thank you again for supporting the MAW Tuna Challenge. Stop by our Raffles sale to say hi. I love your brother's bottle, still using it. May be I get lucky and win the TV this year.
