Showed up about 7:00 a.m. to find over 100 of my closest friends already there...waiting for me...not wanting to "combat fish" I decided to troll "outside" of the gaggle...from Cattle pt to Salmon Bank down 100 and 120 running cop car tailwagger, and cop car glow 3" behind UV flashers...7:00-11:00 nothing... then just as we approached the top of the high...in about 500 FOW...pow...nice Coho hen....just got cleaned up...and the rod went off again..finally got the skunk off the boat this season...to the best of my knowledge there were only 3 fish caught before I left...and I got 2...nobody was fishing out as deep as I was...

You might want to get a filet knife, the chainsaw is probably all covered in salmon now.

Pretty ballsy posting those fillet pics on this site. Same goes with that headline . Congrats on the fish though, or what's left of them!

Give the guy a break..... you can clearly see his liquor glass in that picture that HAD to have been filled (and emptied) at least 5 times before hacking those fish up :_portable

I’ve been contemplating using butter knives and blindfolds in my filleting endeavors as well. Also good to point out exact locations! :appl:

I was thinking he used a spoon.

Gotta call bullshit on this post. 1) there are no fish in 7 and 2) that filet job

Sorry if my filet job offended...I was doing it at 30 mph crossing Rosario Strait...(yes I saved the carcasses for fish police and crab bait) it's much easier to clean the boat after filleting in open water than in my slip in Shelter Bay...and we don't want our marina to smell like Olson's...so I clean "at sea"...I was thrilled just to catch something...$600 worth of fuel later...boat holds 140 gallons...filled it up 3 times at Costco...Oh BTW this is what my fillet job usually looks like...

At this point I can’t even throw out another comment!!!!
Filleting at 30 mph across Rosario is genius!
