Lure Suggestions for Chandeleur Islands 1st Weekend May 2019

I will be fishing at the Chandeleur Islands and wanted to hear any suggestions about colors and types of baits which have been productive in the past.

Will be wade fishing most of the time, but will also have access to small boats and possibly kayaks.

as a newly relocated back home here in Louisiana after 20 years Id be interested in a fish report after if you got the time.

Will do. I am looking forward to the trip. I have not fish the Chandeleur Islands before, but I enjoy wadefishing for trout/reds.
Will post a report and hoping for nice weather, clean/green water and a great time.

I have done good on a popping cork with gulp shrimp and have done best with live bait Carolina rigged
