Gary, I am going to Mag Bay late October, and will have an extra day to fish. We have always heard good stuff about a couple of spots off Isla Catalan in the Sea and are thinking about trying it. Can you (or anyone) refer me to a boat or captain who may regularly fish that area?

    Thanks, Rick

Rick - if you are bringing a kayak with you or have access to one, shoot me a PM - got some great Cabrilla spots. But it starts getting real windy in November - so you'll need to be certain it doesn't start early.

Gary gets his Loreto info from Rich Hill. Rick works for Sea and Land Tours in Loreto proper. You can book a trip with them. South of town about 15 miles is Juncalito right next to Puerto Escondido. Torres Sportfishing is based out of there. Depending where you want to fish I think they can meet you at the docks in Loreto, Puerto Escondido or leave from Juncalito.
