I’m looking to buy a new or slightly used boat. Preferably a 27’ north river or I will consider a 26-28’ Duckworth for the right price. Figure I should put it out there if anyone knows of one for sale. If nothing comes up I am gonna have one built starting in November. Thanks

That boat is way outside my price range. Super sweet looking ride though

What is you price range you want to stay in. The one above with the twin 425's is starting at $278K plus all the electronics. Good Luck with the hunt. I've been looking for a while now.

Sounds like you’ve been pricing Bud!
You could just skip a cross the top of the waves with twin 425s

A brand new 27’ north river with twin 200 Yamis and a t-25 I was quoted at 153k and another 10 k to that for all the latest greatest Raymarine stuff. So new I’m looking at 163k that’s out the door tax and everything. I’m guessing on the Raymarine stuff I did not get a quote on that as I’d do it myself. So I would say if there was something used out there for a desent deal I’d look into it. But anything closer to this price I would just get new.

27 is a perfect combo, just the right sized for a person to tow easily, drive easily, launch easily, decent on fuel with twin 200’s, yep I gotta admit your thinking spot on what I will eventually get in regards to size, unless I go 180 and get a non-towable sport-fisher type!!

September-Dec are probably the best buying months used or new. I think Yamaha gives you 5 year warranties buying new in October(which I missed buying in September). If we ever cross paths this summer you are welcome to test drive my 28 duck.

I went and checked out that White NR beast at Clemens last week while I was killing time. I didn’t climb inside but looked it over from the outside pretty good. It is a lot of boat and those 425 Yamis were huge. They also had a 29’ new style Hewes and it looked good as well.

You could get that albie, and have money left over to buy a slip in skyline and moor seasonally out at coast for years...
